All you people in oz can hear the Beastie Boys BDO performance on live at the wireless this monday night at 8pm. and remember if you miss it, they replay it on sunday at 5!
all you o/s people who want to hear it can go here (http://www.triplej.abc.net.au/) to listen to it. you'll have to do the maths and work out what time it will be in your time zone, but its 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.

you mean the frequency? 105.7 in sydney.. 107.5 in melbourne...

Because the quality of the stream i'm recording sucks ass, like streams always do.

normal radio bro,digital recording and im recording high quility too off my comp using a line in and an awesome program making sum wavs. And off my iriver which records from its own radio to mp3.
and i listend to the stream for a seconds and yes it does suck ass!

ok heres the dealio i got the hole thing recorded on my iriver but on my wav recording i missed out on sabotage coz my comp froze. also they didnt play no sleep till brooklyn (n) but i have the channel v video of that so maybe i could extract the audio :rolleyes:
i was looking forward to hearing a good recording of no sleep

after being the one who started this thread, my sister missed taping the second half! dammit! i was at tafe, so i entrusted the task to her. well, at least they'll replay it.

It's funny.
I thought that the Big Day Out being an Australian festival would have been sound enough to meet the minimum 'Oz Content' criteria triple j base their programming around. Thus I expected a little more than an abridged set for the evening.
If it had been Missy Higgins or even Hilltop Hoods they would have played every single piece of the set, down to the smearing of vegemite on toast...

in the last ten mins i just added in "no sleep till brooklyn" which was not broadcasted on that show yet i got the audio from it from when channel v showed it on tv.

yes i herd that mastake too. And i Dont recommend skipping work to tape on to a cassette lol.

i downloaded all the BDO tracks from that website, but i thought the quality was still a big lacking so i threw them into ProTools, twiddled with the EQ, brought up the volume and compressed the tracks a little an they have come up sounding 3 times better than before!! if anyone wants a CD of these 'mastered' tracks, lemme know.
What site did you download the songs off?
I would like the remastered version, how could i get it?
Does anyone have a cd of the tracks that were played on triple j?
