probably not the healthiest of healthy...but it was the first time i battered and fried anything, so im glad they turned out yummy.

you need a couple handfuls of flour and garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper all to taste ( i used probably about 1/4 cup powdered garlic in mine...yummers)
1 egg and a bout 1/4 cup beer (i used bass, but i dont think it matters)
8 tenderloins (or however many, i was just trying to use as much of the batter as i could)

fill a frying pan about `1/4 full of veggie oil (you can probably use any lighter oil, i used store brand vegetable oil) heat over med/high heat

when it is hot enough (a drop of water will cause a sizzle) batter the chicken

dip the chicken in the egg/beer mix
dip in the flour
and put in the oil.
flip the fingers 4-5 times in about 8-9 minutes (thats how long mine cooked for )

remove and de-oil in paper towel.

dip in favorite dipping sauce and enjoy.

just thought it was yummy and im having some with my southwest caesar salad today....:)

sounds nice! Maybe as you say not the healthiest of healthy, but hey every once in a while isn't going to kill you now is it. Anyway, if you make them yourself like that at least you know you are getting fresh ingredients and nothing full of fillers and artificial colourings and stuff.

mmm, sounds verrrry tasty indeed

i tried doing the fried chicken thing a few days ago...wellm the batter came off because it wasnt sticking to the chicken, and wanted to stick to the pan instead...it still ended up tasting good anyway, so i didnt care
