as the kids like to say i "fronted" on this album for a long time,, the whole west coast, g-funk, chronic smoke, chuck taylors,,,,, i just didnt get it but my eyes opened over time and its a great album. but i still dont see what the big fuss over "the chronic" is,, i'm entitled to my opinion.

Its a good album, not one of my favorites, but good. However, the bandwagon it created sucked dick hard.

when does this record drop in stores?

:D

Ha, this album is definitely a classic, I've loved the album for a long time. Best track: G'z Up, Hoes Down (#18 on the original release, which I have). It's got that "classic" gangsta feel. Gotta love it! (y)

Oh yeah, I got a ? to you all...Does the remastered not have all the tracks on it? The original has 19 tracks, and when I was looking at the remastered it only had 13. What da deal?

Not listened to it yet...

LOL. He was good on Deep Cover soundtrack though. Yea, I'm holding a grudge against him right now. One of the biggest sell-outs around.

Uh, I don't know what you're talking about. Was this an original US release? Maybe they separated the skits from the songs.

I'll tell you what, his music sounded way better back then than it does now.

Thats becuase he fell off. His flows and lyrics are pathetic these days. Hes degenerated into a complete corn-ball, theres no way around it.

Well the track listing isn't the same on the cd and on the case on mine. On the case it has a screwed up track listing (including Tha Next Episode (featuring Dr. Dre) which I knew is an unreleased track, except the other version on Dr. Dre's 2001). And on the cd it has 19 tracks, here they are...

01 Bathtub
02 G Funk Intro
03 Gin And Juice
04 W Balls
05 Tha Shiznit
06 Interlude (Domino)
07 Lodi Dodi
08 Murder Was The Case
09 Serial Killa
10 Who Am I (What's My Name)
11 For All My Niggaz & Bitches
12 Ain't No Fun (If The Homies Can't Have None)
13 Interlude (Chronic Break)
14 Doggy Dogg World
15 Interlude (My Name Is Snoop)
16 Gz And Hustlas
17 Tha Next Episode
18 Gz Up, Hoes Down
19 Pump Pump

On the casing it says 1993, and no further dates. I know that the one with 13 tracks says 1993, 2001, has a video on it, and says "remastered" on the cover.

Gin and Juice forever :-)

the only thing i dislike about the album are all the intros, outros and interludes,...

heh, snoop started to suck from his 2nd album (dogfather) on, but he's still in business, a remarkable prestation if you ask me !
