Your letter will be returned to sender (in other words, your designated recipient), free of charge. You'll also be facing a stiff federal sentence if you get caught. But what the hell. A few cents in postage is worth the risk, right?

how will robbing from the gov't that you hate help in anyway?
who's REALLY get's hurt when you steal from the gov't? think about the actual results of such actions....

I think this would only work in limited situations. For instance, if I wanted to mail my friend in Maine and send the letter from Texas (pretend I live there for sake of the example). After a while of doing this, I would imagine that someone would notice... "Hey, this dude supposedly lives in Maine but he keeps trying to mail letters from Texas. It seems to me that if he lived in Maine, he would be mailing letters from Maine. Don't you think so, Jill?".

And that would be the end of that.

Read my original post, Q. I never claimed it would "help anything". For the record, I've never used this technique. I pay my taxes. And I never claimed to hate "the government".
