From the revolution vaults... Want to send snail-mail free? It's easy! Just write the address you want the letter sent to as the return address. Your letter will be returned to sender (in other words, your designated recipient), free of charge. You'll also be facing a stiff federal sentence if you get caught. But what the hell. A few cents in postage is worth the risk, right?

I thought about that before too. There are more productive ways to go about sticking it to the man though.

I agree. But I couldn't resist posting this painfully obvious vulnerability in the CORP-GOV system. It's good to know the laws of nature do not defer to the petty dictates of bureaucracy.

Yes, Qdrop. There is a point. Perhaps if you comb your hair and wear a hat, nobody will notice. :p
Think for yourself, or your self-righteous leaders will do it for you.

tell me how abusing the postal service and ripping it off 32 cents at a time will help anything?
how will robbing from the gov't that you hate help in anyway?
who's REALLY get's hurt when you steal from the gov't? think about the actual results of such actions....
and look up the word "pragmatic".....

I think this would only work in limited situations. For instance, if I wanted to mail my friend in Maine and send the letter from Texas (pretend I live there for sake of the example). After a while of doing this, I would imagine that someone would notice... "Hey, this dude supposedly lives in Maine but he keeps trying to mail letters from Texas. It seems to me that if he lived in Maine, he would be mailing letters from Maine. Don't you think so, Jill?".
And that would be the end of that.
Now what does all this have to do with politics?

Read my original post, Q. I never claimed it would "help anything". For the record, I've never used this technique. I pay my taxes. And I never claimed to hate "the government".
I love your terminology. "Abusing" the postal service. SMACK! POW! SICK EM, FIDO! BAD POSTMAN! NO STAMP FOR YOU, BITCH! Perhaps there should be a safehouse for victims of postal abuse and domestic shipping violence.
I know what the word "pragmatic" means. For homeless people, this mailing strategy might help in an emergency situation. Nuff said?
For all the people who have had their liberties, dignity, and tax dollars robbed by bloated dictators disguised as morality mobsters, sometimes it feels good to take a little bit back, even if it is only symbolic.
And scary squirrel, EVERYTHING is political.
