FL Studio & SoundForge 7.0. I have ACID 3, i think, but its old and I've never figured it out. What do you guys use ACID for?

The good ol' 1s and 2s. Some of their singles have instrumentals or acapellas thats good for remixes and such. But I recently got a vinyl thats called "Beastie Breaks" that contains instrumentals of all their classic hits like "Brass Monkey" or "High plains drifter". I always wanted that in instrumental form. I usually use that record to do mash-ups.

I got into Acid Pro 3.0 years back simply for it's ease of use and power over the samples. Nothing much touched it back then. Obviously things have changed now and there are loads of great progs out there. I stuck with Acid because it's what I got to know. I still it's one of the quickest packages to get to grips with. I remixed Sabotage with Acid pro check it out......

i use Acid 4. Used to use 5 but it stopped working after a while.
Also FruityLoops5 to make my own beats and basslines n stuff.
And finally, SoundForge a necessity for hooking up proper loops.
