cuz i was using it as an "any example" case, meaning that we´d all probably just write about any shit they make a forum on, nothing personal, you know, on space and all

Yeah... what IS up with space!?! I'd be listening to "...Intergalactic planetary Planetary intergalactic.... Another dimension another dimension..." while seeing it all.
Since this thread has a good chance of being..., and since we're on the topic, I just saw What Dreams May Come. Ahhhhhhhhhhh... what a movie. But for real. I love it I love it I love it I love it...
To think your grandkids will probably know space like inside and out... not to be precocious... I just can't wait ;)
Oh, that reminds me, they can cryogenically freeze... so I can see it too... and maybe never have to die. But then again, I don't want to miss out on life beyond this one!
OK. Thanks for the make believe forum there zippo. (lb) :)

possibly. It might be too much like work though. As much as I love my job, I don't know that I'd want to continue it here.

LOL I am talking about that my job is (in part) writing about space and teaching astronomy, and I already participate in two other online discussion groups pertaining to 'space' as part of my daily professional life. So, I might not want to do it here "for fun" as it were.
I do workshop with primary school kids about space food, so I last had some about 3 weeks ago. It's gotten quite a bit better than it used to be, I tell you.

well it's just that it used to be really pretty basic. Almost everything came out of a tube, like toothpaste, so everything had this pate-like consistency. Meat paste. Veg paste. Very blah.
Now it's a bit more like real food. Still have to take averything dehydrated and freeze-dried and all, and can't have a proper sandwich with bread - they use tortilla wraps (no crumbs). But it's not bad really. Except that the astronauts have to eat it for weeks or months, and it does get a bit dull, but it's a heck of a lot more varied than it used to be. I am quite certain you will find loads of info about it on the NASA site.
