Anyone heard about it yet? It's gonna be one show in Chicago. They haven't released any lineups yet, but there's supposed to be 70 bands on 5 stages er somethin like that. I live in mid Michigan so I'm thinkin about making the trip. Last year the flaming lips, Pixies, Sonic Youth, and String Cheese Incident were supposed to be there.

This year it's only in Chicago, tickets are being sold yet the lineup hasn't even been announced yet

This is an even worse idea than last year's "tour"

The tickets they were selling pre-lineup release were at a great price. They were charging $35 for both nights. Anywho, I bet it's going to be off the chain. It's harder for festival organizers to round up a whole bunch of big name bands that are willing to go on an entire tour together (plus it costs a lot), but the fact that it's only going to be two nights in one city means that it has the potential to have a real quality roster. I heard a rumor that Beck was going to headline one of the nights too, that would be sweet.

I would assume Chicago because it's in the middle of the country, rather than on the far east or west coast like LA or NY, thus making the shows more accessible for everybody to attend. Plus, Grant Park is a very nice, well-kept park and is the perfect place for such a festival. And if you don't like it then............................well, you know the rest.

I didn't know Beck was that big to do such a thing?
