The Australians Speak: 2005 survey, commissioned by the Lowy Institute for International Policy, found 57 per cent of Australians were "very worried" or "fairly worried" about the external threat posed by both US foreign policy and Islamic extremism.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The only places... that generated fewer positive feelings than the U.S. were Indonesia (52 percent)...
When I saw this number, I thought the data must've been taken before the tsunami. Nope, says the PDF on the Lowy page:
The survey data on which this report is based was collected in telephone interviews between the 5th and the 10th of February 2005 by UMR Research.
Same shit in Italy, where the govt. proclaims to love us but the people hate Bush.
At the Pope's funeral Mr Bush’s (http://news.scotsman.com/latest.cfm?id=4372242) face appeared on giant screens showing the ceremony – many in the crowds outside St Peter’s Square booed and whistled.
