all my friends laughed in sixth grade when i got braces...but i got mine taken off in eighth grade, as they were all getting theirs put on. SUCKERS.

The worst is when you have to get braces at age 20. Not that I have 'em (or ever have had' em, or ever will need to), but a friend of mine who's 21 and whose bite is really off is going to have to get his jaw broken in several places, let it heal, then get it broken again in order align his teeth properly. And I think braces will be involved, too.

Really glad that I've never had to deal with anything like that. Yuck!

I had to wear a hat when I was about 8 or 9 during sleep.

It was luminous pink, yellow and green and the Dentist said I'd look like a Power Ranger.

I hated the fucking Power Rangers :mad:

They say I have crowding on the lower part of my jaw. They suggested braces, but the ol' insurance isn't having it. They have those clear braces now too... I don't think it's anything like it used to be when you got braces.
