Senators will consider new judicial nominees Thursday. GOP-appointed judges already control 10 of 13 appeals courts.

I only saw bits and pieces of it, but I think that it would appeal to many people on this board.

600 billion dollar deficit with trillions in new debt, falling wages adjusted for inflation, a tipple digit percentage increase in healthcare cost, Social Security Trust Fund completely raided, Invasion of Iraq accepted, reelection of Bush making all questions of prewar intelligence irrelevant, all make for a great reading but are hardly the makings of a great empire. The great GOP Empire requires the deletion of all remnants of the New Deal and the Great Society. When government is completely incapable of opposing private interest and the American People no longer have any entity to represent them, then the Empire is born. This is all just preparation like when you make a meatloaf.

Yes I just watched a repeat this morning on the boob tube. Karl Rove is an Architect. It's awesome to see a special about a person who really has become one of the most powerful political voices of his times, yet he denied to be interviewed for his own special. What's up pussycat? Whooooa!

Pandering to the churches is brilliant. Rove knows an oppurtunity like nobody's business, Churches are the unions of the new century, they are the folks with a cause and a base. They have no "Made in America" demands and will provide fervent whacko's to rally behind the cause. Metrics, genius.

The thing I do not get is he has these strengths that democrats can exploit (attack), yet they don't....that is how good he is. Damn scary shit.
