Hello People,

At 2 of the early shows I went to see Ricky powell was on the scene. One time taking picts and the other time drinkin beer,wildly dancing and giving security a REALLY hard time about the way they were handling people.....it was really interesting to watch he cracked Ad-Rock up a couple of times.....anyone else witness him hanging round?

I think "O Snap" is really kind of weak,I'm a critic a cynic and a hobby photographer....has anyone seen "The Rickford Files"

Thoughts?

I saw him taking pics/video at the IC Quadrophonic shows I went to.

His cable access show, Rappin w/the Rickster has some classic bits.

The first time was at a club venue on the tour support for "Check Your Head"
and the second time,was on the "Ill Communication" tour. Both in Vancouver,Canada.

Is this worth picking up?

I also saw on his Ricky's website that he has another book slated to come out in the Fall of 05.

He was also on the Lollapalloza tour with them.

He had a tent in the market area selling photos and books.

ricky's new book drops next month........my boy interviewed him, that will be out next month as well.......i'll post the link when i get it....

I really like The Rickford Files dvd for the interview bits on the metro channel and extra shit like that. I like how it's long as fuck and it's just like the old bootleg of Rappin w/ the Rickster vol.1 vhs only in higher quality.

The new shitz gotta be wild. I wish they aired it on the Metro channel so it can get out to us tri-state folk.

I'm looking forward to this new interview done w/ 'im.
