could we get maybe a thread stating who has been banned?

We used to do that. In fact, there was a whole forum dedicated to warnings/bannings issued at one point a few years ago, inspired by another band site which uses that method. It didn't work out well for us though, as some people here wanted to go out and do stupid things just to be "recognised" in the banned/warned section. So, based on past experience I don't think we'll be doing that again.

Anyway, we have on average only a handful of bans issued in any given year (exclduding spammers who sign up and post only to promote their product). It's not too big a deal.

Her account is still there; the post count is 0. I don't know how this stuff works, though, and whether that means that she was deleted. I didn't think she was banned more it was that she wanted to go away.

No, wints wasn't banned. It was requested that of wints' posts/threads be removed, and so they were.
