My local MP is a Lib Dem, and he is great. Also, time and time again Lib Dems have been proven to be right from the off. They were campaigning for seats on trains before hatfield, they were against the war in Iraq before the government stopped looking for WMDs.

Most of the others are cranks. Labour are just old Tories, the Tories are just old farts, UKIP are a bunch of jingoistic xenophobes, and don't get me started on the BNP.

Lib Dem is the way to go. As somebody mentioned, Labour are just old Tories. The whole iraq issue is sure to bring down Labours majority.

My local MP is Labour, and to be honest he's really run this town into the ground. BEforehand we had some good sports facilities, a little out of date, granted. He got in on the basis that he'd improve these facilities, and add more, as well as improve road safety and reduce council taxes.

4 or so years later, all local services (such as that swimming pool) are gone. The town was promised a new one 3 years ago. Nothing has been done. The local kids playparks have really declined and are practically unusable, road safety has improved ever so slightly, for the cost of immense traffic conjestion with a brand new and absolutley retarded traffic light system. The queue is all down the main street during rush hour, and is at least 2 miles long. No joke. Don't even get me started on council tax, if anything it's increased because of increased spending in public schools in our constituency alone (which, by the way, nobody in my family uses. We use a school outside of our resident constituency).

So that's my beef with labour. Saying 'lies after lies after lies' to generalise them is a bit much, but that's certainly what it feels like.

My vote would defenitley be with Lib Dem. Unless you're a farmer or something then there's no point in considering any of the other parties, besides Labour and Lib Dem.

When was the last election in the UK? It seems like it's been a really long time.

Local elections were 2 years ago, I think - along with European Parlimentary Elections.

I was just old enough to vote.

the way i look at it is...labour and the conservatives are proven as lying worthless arseholes, and the libdems are the only other party that focuses on more than one issue. so, i'll go with them. i guess.

fuck i hope labour lose

i hate that two-faced, halitotic grinning tw@

didn't libdems whip tory butt in the local elections?

the only reason a lot of folks would vote labour would be to keep the tories out, but now they know they can beat them, they'll vote libdem

at the very least, libdems for the opposition

hopefully they'll re-nationalise the trains and water and everything else the fuking tories sold off but labour's already spent all the money on licking Republican crack, so we're all fuked anyway!

but I still want to see blair leave.

Edit: Just been sent this (http://www.gbjab.com/)!

Tooooooo funy!!!
