I know Bambaataa warants respect for his prescence on the original scene and being one of the first purveyors of conscience hip-hop and the whole Marcus Garvey trip...the man really is KRS One's daddy, not genetically but ideologically......anyways if you had the poor misfortune to buy a record like "Hydaulic funk"....sorry!....but "Afrika Bambaataa and the millenium of the gods dark matter moving at the speed of light" is really nice!
Anything else definitive from his catalogue ya know of?
Please don't say "Timezone,warlocks and witches,etc,etc....damn that's bad.... :D

You can download "Looking for the Perfect Beat, 1980-1985" at the iTunes music store for $9.99. It's a "new release" at the store. Also new to iTunes is a remix EP of "Planet Rock."
Some of us, alas, enjoy having a flat, plastic circle, a plastic case and paper liner notes as opposed to purely digital items :p

Well,it's a bootleg press of the Tommy Boy 12" with generic sleeve and it comes with a comic book.....after the exchange and G.S.T it's 50 bones
Payday on friday makes this very tempting, the comic book is what caught my eye, zulu power! ;)
