I can't believe the MCA from 1986 and the MCA from 2007 are the same guy. Seriously.

His change was the biggest 180 out of all three of them.

And maybe it's me, but Yauch has always ALWAYS looked like the guy least likely to be a rapper. No matter what year it is.

Yauch has changed the most when it comes to his personality, although I think he's slightley sunken back into his old ways - not that im complaining. He still has that same amazing face though. He really hasnt changed.

On another messageboard I go to, we had a poll determing who was the best Beastie Boy for a tournament we were doing to determine who was 'the dopest MC Ever'.

Yauch won by a slim margin beating Mike D by 3 points advancing to the tournament.

He then got slaughtered by Chuck D in the first round 76-5.

Adrock was down by 10. The organizers of the tournament seemed to have a bias against Adrock. They considered him nothing more but a 'goofball', not a 'real' MC.

I remember that one of the organizers did a little analysis about which Beastie Boy was the 'realest' MC. And I quote:

Mike D is the realest of the Beastie Boys. Adrock was a goofball. And MCA's a Buddhist. The fuck? Who becomes a Buddhist? Does he write rhymes on rice paper and drink soy milk, and shop at fruit stores while carrying a backpack, the fruitcake!

Ah that's bullshit. If he wasnt a "real" MC the beasties wouldnt be where they are today - that or Yauch and D would have booted his ass a long time ago. The Beasties are the holy trinity of rap. They have to be together or else its just not going to work. H is a key part of the deal.
