Guys their new single is catchy as hell and rocks. Best of You.

I realize I am not an impartial listener but still. It rocks my little 'ol socks.

...I've only heard their first album, but I thought it was good.

This is good news for the fans, Daisy. (y)

I only know "Learn to Fly", shame on me...

I must concur, Daisy!

I LOVE "Best Of You."

One thing about those Foo Fighters guys. With every album, they've been pretty damn consistent if you ask me. Anytime they release something new, you can bet they'll deliver results. Certainly one of the most reliable bands of the last few years. (y)

Yeah, I'm loving the new single.

But what I really want to hear about is tour dates. I don't care how far off they are, I just want to know.

There's a gig in Baltimore, but thaty's it. The rest are European listings and a few Japanese.

I missed them when they came to Edmonton in 2003. :(

DS: Don't miss them again. They're much better live than on CD. I've brought friends who hate their radio hits but end up LOVING the live concerts.

And this go round, they're supposed to be doing separate acoustic shows and rock shows. I think they're one of the few big name bands where I'd really enjoy an acoustic show. (I happen to love the sound of Dave's voice, but everyone might not be in with me on that.)

I'm definitely interested in hearing what the acoustic portion of the album is like. (y)

I love the new single!

Well I love the Foo Fighters anyway, but this one rocks my socks as well. Been seriously thinking of travelling down to Roskilde festival in Denmark because of them this summer, it's been a while since I saw them last.
btw Daisy, why is their website so bland right now? What has happened to the discography, timeline, dictionary, bio, Black Box etc? Are they gonna come out with a bang in 45 days 2 hours 10 minutes and 46 seconds?

I love the acoustics as well. One friendly soul from Czeck Republic sent me some cd's with the acoustics and vcd's with loads of goodies ages ago which I wasn't able to see until resently because I didn't have the right programmes..

I was excited about In Your Honor, but I don't know anymore...I'm getting a little wary.

I've heard most of the Foo Fighters stuff...out of all the songs they have put out, my favorite is their cover of "Baker Street" that song just rocks. Anybody else here heard that one?

They were just confirmed for Live 105's BFD (San Francisco station) on June 10th.

The site is bland because we are updating it to coincide with the new artwork for the album. It should be up and running before In Your Honor's release date which is June 14th.

I would look for them to be playing in the summer big ass arena's for the ROCK and smaller venues for the acoustic.

oh wow. i went to BFD last year. innnnteresting. haven't heard the new single yet, but i've always enjoyed them. they're the rare "mainstream" rock act that's actually talented.

I love it! I do so love the Foos (y) Dave is such a talent. He can do it all. What did you think of Probot Daisy? I'm an old-school metal-head so I fricken loved it. I should probably just look around in the Foo sight and find out there. :D

Hey Knucks, come see me at the site! ;)

Probot was good, but it really isn't my cup of tea. The great thing about Dave is that he is all over the place musically. He loves old school metal but adores classic rock. He drums with so many different bands, NIN, Garbage, QOTSA.

QOTSA is the only other band that he helped with that I really liked. I saw him drum with them in San Francisco a few years back. Rough crowd and it was REALLY loud but fun.

There's gonna be an interview with Dave on BBC 6 (http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/steve_lamacq/) on Thursday. You can send questions for him.
