I am a die-hard Beastie Boys fan, don't get me wrong. But as they say...'2 much of a good thing is bad 4 U'. Apart from the fantastic B.Boys, I love The Strokes, another fantastic band from 'across The Pond'. U feeling me or wot? :eek:

Yeah, actually, no.

I liked this the first time around, when it was called AC/DC or Buzzcocks.

Don't be fooled by those arse-conniving new sods you mistakenly happen to like; they're unoriginal hacks who live to exploit foolhardy youth via regurgitating music in an inferior fashion.

Given that all these new cunts overlap in their crummyness, would you clarify as to who these "strokes" slobs are, so that I might make establish which superior non-new band they heartlessly ripped off?

The comparison you are looking for is Television.

The Strokes aren't Jet (who want to sound like AC/DC, but sound nothing like The Buzzcocks).

Every new band is gonna sound like someone else who has 'walked before them'.
That's just the way it goes!
If it's got a good beat, I'll shake my booty 2 it, surely that's all that counts.
The Beastie Boys fucking rock most of all tho!

There we go, I was thinking of those Jet twats.

And one of those two new bands did an overplayed, Top 40 radio trash song that's excessively reminiscent of The Buzzcocks's "Everybody's Happy Nowadays," hence the relation I saw between them.

Definitely not The Strokes. Those guys are too low key to make a Buzzcocks style song.

Possibly Jet, but that's giving them too much credit for sounding like the Buzzcocks. Those guys really suck at imitating AC/DC to begin with. (n)
