Silvia Robinson helped write a lot of tracks with/for Sugarhill acts, therefore the use of the Grandmaster Flash sample (which she most likely helped write or wrote completely) probably led to her getting credit for the Grasshopper Unit. ............And that's my story and I'm sticking to it. she' probably credited cos of the sample "Cant, Wont,Dont Stop", as she was the writer for sugarhill gang and furious five i think. Can't remember which one the sample is of thou

Brother_McDuff and Shazam_21 are on the money... SR wrote the songs that the Beastie Boys sampled, therefore she gets credit for composing...


kind of like how Beck's E-Pro lists Beastie Boys as composers, when E-Pro samples "So Whatcha Want"
