Come on, I know at least one other person here has it other than me, so I wanted to see what people's general opinion of it was. Personally, I think it's a really great album and there isn't a damn thing I'd change about it. Especially for a first album, it's solid as can be.
He's got some great MC's on a lot of the tracks and the instrumental tracks hold their own as well. I hear he sold 11,000 the first week, which really isn't that bad for someone that's been relatively "underground" for quite a while.
So, who's got it and what did you think of it? If you don't have it, run to Best Buy and see if they're still selling copies for $6.99 like they were its opening week. It's definitely worth the cashola.

I assume you're talking about me.
Damn right!
I'll admit, I've only listened through once, but the production has been solid and the MCs all dropped great songs.
All talented rappers with Z-Trip beats makes it a good album.
It deserves props.
And speaking of Best Buy, those fuckers didn't have a single copy of any Buck 65. Pisses me off...

I hope it's better than MMM's "Bangzilla"
more like LAMEzilla!

GMA']I assume you're talking about me.
Actually, I was talking about HEIRESS, 'cause I sent her a free copy. But, that's all cool.
Yeah, I would say this is definitely better than Bangzilla. Go cop it, dude. It'll be hot.

Excellent timing then, as I made a post about this minutes before you made this thread.
Very cool.
And yeah, it's better than Bangzilla. Bangzilla was alright but it's not an album that stays fresh.

i got that shit
i own z-trip's "future primitive" and "uneasy listening" and i love those records, but I bought this new one, and I'm not feelin' it... that song with murs rapping about eating cereal and watching cartoons peeks the shit out of me
Shifting Gears is just like that mark ronson's album

The only problem I have with that song is that a Murs/Supernatural collabo over a Z-Trip beat could have KILLED, but instead it was only moderately ammusing.
