I'm listening to the brand new New Order right now.

So far, this is fantastic. It's truly awesome to see a band that's been able to deliver the good stuff for over 20 years, especially since Joy Division only had two albums before Ian Curtis killed himself. :(

Anyways, this is sounding very promising. So far the synths are a little bit less emphasized, but it can definitely proudly sit right next to "Power, Corruption & Lies" and "Substance." (y)

Update: the synths kicked in later in the album.

Definitely gonna be in my Top 10 favorite albums. 2005 is shaping up to be a good year for music! (y)

I preview the album on that Brasilian MTV thingy, and to me, it feels more like a natural progression from the sound we last heard on "Technique."

And that's a freakin' good sound (y)

I'll buy it later in the week, once I manage to score a ride to the record store. I'm too sick to walk there at the moment. Blah.

Best track on that album is definitely "Jet Stream."

I haven't heard it but I bet it's really crap. I mean, I love New Order but their recent stuff is awful. They should have split after Get Ready.

Once again, their down on money. "Let's make a record!".

It's better than Get ready. The whole album is great save for one song (Dracula's Castle..oy vey). You should at least give it a listen.

In an interview with the Metro Peter Hook said getting the band back together was like spending Christmas with your family: "turns out you don't hate them as much as you thought".

eh. its alright. not their best, but not their worst by far. and I seem to be the only person in the world who likes Dracula's Castle.


I'm also the only person in the world who's waiting for Revenge to re-unite.
