Since I'm lazy and in a certain sense, not as orthodox a fan as some of you on this site appear to be, I thought I'd post this thread and let you deliver the goods; here goes: the beasties, besides being (or because they are) all-around geniuses, (also) have a great sense of humor... Please post any complete jokes, funny remarks, surreal expressions and anything else the boys made ya laugh with under this starter. Who knows, it might be a book someday!

Once I watched a tv program in Eurochannel with the beasties. The name of the program was Passengers.
Well, in a moment of the interview, Mike said something like this:
"Our band is not complete yet in the basketball format"

In another part, Yauch said that they were addicted to tofu cause they could molde tofu in different ways. So Horovitz said "We can also do a tofu swan"

Well.....at least i thought it as a funny interview

And what he's gonna do the next time he "sees" Nathaniel Hornblower....that just made me howl....The best part of it being the confused looks Ad Rock and D gave him,damn funny(y)

i'm happy you got to meet them and all but if i gotta read another post from you talking about it i just might lose my head! let's move on... oh, and mca totally pointed to me and smiled and stuff! true story.

and something that made me laugh was when they were doing an interview for the european mtv video awards. they were talking about outkast and mca said that he liked the song where they go "workin 9 to 5" it was just the way he sang it that made me laugh so hard. the lyric he sang was from a dolly parton song, for the movie 9 to 5. yeah... adrock was laughing at him. you gotta watch the interview, so silly... i can try finding the link if ya want...

oh, and the cop interview, ciao la, that was really funny. anyone know if most of it was scripted or adlibs? when mca says "i killed lots of people, i do what i waunt." pfffhahaaaa!

A funny thing I saw was on "Live To The 5 Boroughs" When Adrock keeps pressnig the buzzer and interupts the host of the show. And when the host of the show says to Mike D "calm down mike" Adrock says Miiike, Miiike Dawg Miiiiike Dawg Miiiiiiike hahahaha.

On the same show when the guy in the Audience asks the boys if they ever battle people and Adrock goes "well you must have battled in some way"

And on that interview with the singer of Creed comment at the end when Mike gets angry because they are talking about eating inthe studio, hes like "IV HAD ENOUGH" MCA's sitting there like "oh you know this guy with the coffee" hahahaha

Also on that show I remembered how Jim was asking them questions to see if they remember their answers from past questions. I was laughing on the part where Jim asks Yauch, "where did they get samples for Hello Nasty?" and then I remember Yauch was saying Google and then I don't know, from vinyls? But anyways they then showed a clip from 98 of Yauch talking about how they were underwater in a submarine and Mike had to go out record whales with a boom mic. It was also hilarious, how Adrocks favorite jewish food is bagels.
