Does anyone know where this sasquatch meme came from? The earliest instance I've found is from "Billy Madison" from 10 years ago. It was showing up on t-shirts in spring and now he's in the Pepsi One ad campaign.

Speaking of Sasquatch, I was just watching a revamp of MTV's "VMA's Uncensored" and apparently, finding someone to play Sasquatch for the Bboys' presentation of the MTV2 Award at last year's VMAs was, and I quote, "a tough booking," and one of the last things to be resolved for the awards show.

Here's a short list of celebrities that were on the BBoys and MTV execs lists to play Sasquatch:

• Marilyn Manson
• Jack Black
• Dave Grohl
• Kelly Ripa (wtf?)

Don Johnson (?!) came very very close to playing Sasquatch, apparently... and called last minute to say he "couldn't do it." A 50-year-old actor stand-in ended up playing the infamous Sasquatch.

And that's the rest of the story. Discuss.

It was Andre Reyes, a basketball player (not foreign) that played Sasquatch in the video...
