In Australia on tv next Friday there is a movie on called "The Taking Of Pelham One Two Three". I thought thats must be where Adrock got it from, but the movie was made in 98, and sure shot is from 94. Yeah just thought id let yall know.

Yeah I was thinking it might be a remake, cool thanks for that dude. Think i'll go an listen to Sure Shot. I'll definately be taping the movie on Friday night.

yeah i noticed that too when i walked into jb hifi, i saw a movie called taking of the phelem 1 2 3 and i was like WTF? i was tempted to buy it just i'd heard it in sure shot

the original(1974) with Walter Matthau and Jerry Stiller is a classic cop caper about a group of thugs who hijack a NYC subway and take everyone on board hostage...
it was also the inspiration for using color names in Quentin Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs"
In "Pelham 123" the hijackers use color names such as Mr. Blue, Mr. Green, Mr. Grey, and Mr. Brown...

another good NYC subway movie is "The Incident" starring Martin Sheen (his first movie I believe).
it plays every now and then on AMC...check it out
