fantastic album.
I like "New Danger" but it seriously pales in comparison to this. his flow is so much more solid.
mighty mos!
I don't mind the New Danger, i actually like rock/blues/rap mixture it's pretty good. yeah but Black on Both Sides is better.

His lyrics on this 'Black' are so much better. Listening to New Danger it sorta sounds like he took a step back to 'Big Brother Beat' on De La's 'Stakes Is High' album.
Pretty weak lyrics on that song.

exactly. you can tell on Black on Both Sides that he wasn't a rapper/actor just yet.
or was he?
either way, kick ass record.

'Hip Hop', 'Know That' and 'Ms. Fatbooty' are gems.
It reeks of N.Y that album, and I haven't even smelled New York!!!

The only song on New Danger that is as good as anything on Black on Both Sides is 'Sunshine.' I love that song, but it really doesn't fit on New Danger.
I like the New Danger too, but it always seems that once they're famous for something else other than rapping, something in their heads click, and all those rapper/now actors lose the ability to write songs like they used to.
