agreed. steger loves that stuff, and i tried it and felt like a junkie with the purest shit she's ever tried.

and yes, i know we're at the top of the food chain for a reason. we wouldn't have evolved such large brains and complicated thought processes without the kind of complex proteins in meat...but it's not just about that for me. it's about ethics and my convictions about harming others. the thought of consuming animal products sickens me. i just can't be responsible for that. and i believe that in the age in which we live, it's not necessary to continue eating meat or dairy products. besides, most of what's out there is so toxic for you anyway, you're better off without it. but that's just my opinion, and what's right for me :)

dr pepper and gingerale is what i'd go with outside of your 2 choices there. too much can strip the enamel from your teeth and of course there are other side effects. its good for your lawn though. oh and grape fanta. that's where it's at.

I feel a certain twisted pride that I live in the one country that reportedly is the only one where Coke or Pepsi is not the number one brand of toxic carbonated chemical drink.

In Scotland the number one drink is Irn Bru - a drink so toxic that its main colours have been, and possibly still are, banned in Russia and the USA. At various times Irn Bru is either nectar or something close to nuclear waste.

After a twenty mile cycle run in the middle of summer drinking it is better than sex. When you are stoned or tripping and your perceptions become a little more refined you understand that nothing that radioactive orange can possible be good for you.

Hey but at least Barr's, the producers of Irn Bru, haven't gifted their toxic, carcinogenic sludge residue to farmers in one of the most self sufficient regions of the world, passing it off as fertiliser. But given the chance who knows? :)

The short answer is that despite these considerations I'll drink anything that is around if it'll give me my regular shot of caffeine, sugar and stimulants. :)
