Lucky! Does he have a paper shopping bag full of glitter like he did in Seattle a few years ago? He walked up and down the aisles throwing glitter on the audience before starting the show....kind of a shower of pixie dust.
The man is a magician, you need to get a piano in your bar yesterday.

he's very unassuming in real life, pretty much blends in to the masses when he's out with his kids and stuff. no glitter. just a quiet, jean jacket wearin, hands in his pockets kinda guy. he's cool. he doesn't get recognized much, or at least I never see anyone aproach him for autographs or anything.

I think I might have mentioned before that I do like him.
Long time ago we were five people living in this house and one of the guys had a shop for musical instruments. When Tom Waits played here he wanted to use a piano from his shop (he was the only one who had that particular type of piano). We wanted to him to bring it home after the gig so we could have something that Tom had touched! :D He wouldn't do it... :(

Always loved him. Everything he does is enjoyable. Did you see Coffee and Cigarettes? He was a great scene with Iggy Pop, really funny.

That scene was my favorite from that movie, they're both speaking indirectly about each others careers, clever stuff....he's the best with Roberto Begnini in "Down By Law" my favorite Jarmusch flick.... ;)

I've been wanting to see that for forever but I can never find it at rental places, and I don't want to join an online rental thing being that I don't have my own TV. I have seen it for sale in stores but never available to rent.

There is a Tom Waits song on a mixed CD someone gave me but I don't know what the song is called, and I can't understand what he's singing in the chorus. Someone please help me! It sort of sounds like he's saying "Oh that rain"
Parts of it sound like they go "Know what to do when the baby cries" and "God goes begging here"
I know this isn't much to work with. It's hard to describe a tune.
EDIT: nevermind I found it. It's "Hoist that Rag"

That's lame! It's really almost worth buying! The soundtrack/score is largely by Waits and Laurie....my favorite jail break movie of all time, good luck!
