Spoon have made an unorthodox record by their standards, one that's extremely straighforward and full of hits. It's still extremely good.
Album of 2005 so far.

I really enjoyed it too. There's some bona fide pop hits on there..

Son of a bitch. I can't find any Spoon albums anywhere. I've been searching for Girls Can Tell for the past 6 months to no avail. In the event that I do finally come across some Spoon, which of the two do you think I should pick up first?

Well, here's Gimme Fiction (http://www.boomkat.com/item.cfm?id=17350). No help on the other though, sorry.

I think you should buy 'Kill The Moonlight' and 'A Series Of Sneaks' first, DDD.

No, no, no, get Girls Can Tell, yo. Trust me. Dude, the last song is called Chicago At Night. Lara. Chicago. That's a total sign, man.
I haven't finished listening to Gimme Fiction, but it's crazy so far. Oh hey, it comes with a bonus disc for a limited time only.
Lara, get Gimme Fiction first. Yes. Do that.

I always keep meaning to pick up and buy the Spoon CD's because I have 'Back to the life' on a compilation CD that was with UNCUT and that song alone won me over

The only problem I have with Gimmie Fiction is that some of the songs go on for too long. 'They Never Got You' should not be 5 minutes.
