I have little badges with those drugs on them in cute colours. I got them at a QOTSA show. I wear them on my blazer to school. Today I was sporting 'vicodin'.
I'm anti-drugs by the way, it's all about the song really. :o

Guns Of Brixton - The Clash

Two excellent choices! Gratiude live on the Sabotage thing just does it for me, I prefer how they play it there, with the intro just bass and drums, and adrock's guitar parts come in on the versus...just kicks in so fucking well (y)
as for the strokes, i liked the basslines in someday...

The beat from White Lines, isn't.
They sampled the bassline from Cavern by Liquid Liquid. It was better when Liquid Liquid did it.
And yes, it's the best bassline ever.
i never noticed until recently, but i love the bass in beastie's 'the scoop'. so good. especially in the last few seconds of the song where it's just that and some beats. mmm mmm good.
i'm surprised nobody's mentioned anything by the red hot chili peppers. is flea not good enough? that dude is good. but, no particular song is coming to mind...hmm..
RATM - township rebellion!!!!!!!!!!
gotta love this bassline!!!!!!!!!!!!!
