I read about Axl Rose jumping off stage at a concert and punched a fan in the fucking face who simply snapped a picture of him with a small flash camera . I can't believe you listed Cocteau Twins...Have you heard their first album Garlands? It's different compared to the rest of their stuff (that I've heard thus far). You may like that album.
