As for Sandinista the actual album... any self-respecting Clash fan would have it. :cool:

I think it's their weakest,really only warranted "one record" I think....I do admire that the fact that the Clash spoke directly to the political concerns or "hotspots" of their time though.....I'll take "Combat Rock",released same year, over it despite the "radio friendly material","Sandinista" was largely a matter of contractual obligation according to "A Riot of Our Own:Day and Night with The Clash" by Johnny Greenwood...great read.....I recently bought "From here To Eternity" and I think it may be the best live album I have ever heard! (y)
