when I met him in August of 03, it was supposedly "a few months from release" as was Chali 2na's solo record.

at this point, who knows.....

Sorry, I don't have anything, but I'd imagine it's getting somewhere near completion. The dude has had a pretty sweet website up for some time now... but it's not really had any updates. I don't know what the biff is with that.

Hmmm... this has got me wondering though. Too bad it doesn't even look like his message board has anything really album related going on at it... damn.

I saw J5 in providence last week and Cut Chemist wasn't there, because they all said he was working on the solo album. I believe Zaakir said he was working on a solo project as well, and they said the new J5 album would be out this summer.

I think the majority of the DVD is from the L.A. dates. There is a special on it where a ton of the guys come out and jam together and I think someone told me that was filmed in Philly, but I'm not sure.
