perhapes a quastion (sp) that has been here before but for me just to be shure ( and perhapes others)
Is it possible to get a virus or something trough a link that has been put in one off the treads ??? or do you look out for that ??? do i have to watch out myself if i click on a link somewhere on the board ??
i would really like to know .....just to be shure !! :)

If somebody posts a link to something which can give you a virus, or is a virus or some other harmful thing then yes, obviously you can be adversely affected by that. We accept no responsibility for any consequences of what others may post on here. You have to use at your own risk there.
Do we look out for such links? Well, we're like a watchdog, not a bloodhound. We don't seek out any problematic links which may be posted as such, but rather in the event that one is brought to our attention we will remove it.

^^sorry had to laugh right there , around here where i live we don't charge quick so most of the time all is at my on risk :o

overall the best thing you can do to prevent getting "viruses" of any kind through the message board is to ignore the entire beastie-free general discussion. chances of those types of links appearing in there is probably 60 times bigger.

--- also .. float your mouse over the link .. if it's something like "mtv.com," or a reputable site, it should be ok..
