Ween are geniuses, full stop. And their "fun-silly" side (which I adore) apart, you have to realize that they're great song composer and pretty good musicians.
And they wrote the best country album ever.

I saw them when Voodoo Lady was all about the radio. I won tickets and oddly enough they never played it. Interesting show though. The last song was like a 20 minute lyricless opus that cleared the floor faster than them turning the lights on. Interesting band. They buck the system

So I'm going to see these guys in under a month and honestly can't remember another concert that I've been this geeked for. I found myself dusting off my collection about 2 months ago for preparation, to get me back in the boognish mindstate, and it's been a blessing in disguise. When White Pepper came out, followed by Quebec, I was seriously disappointed. Now listening to them, these albums fucking rock. I'd have to say I like Quebec better. The way the album starts and finishes is amazing and is marbled with great songs throughout.
