A couple weeks ago, i went to the Green Day concert in Grand Rapids, MI-it was by far the best band i've EVER seen live. i hate to say it, but it was even better than the beastie boys. They put on such an amazing performance, with pyrotechnics, squirting the crowd with super soakers, wearing crazy hats, and just being crazy in general. I'm going again in September when the come to the Palace of Auburn Hills :D

UNFORTUNATLEY, I saw them in concert with Blink 182 and Jimmy Eats World (or is it Jimmy Eat World?). My best friend was a big fan of JEW at the time so I came with. When Greenday came on stage two giant lit up skulls appeared with smoke and fire. I don't like Greenday or any of those bands so I didn't have much fun. We were also frozen cold because we didn't come prepared with jackets. We left early.

Plus, it's better that you were sprayed with super soakers than with something else at a Slipknot or GG Allin concert.(y)

umm i don't think there were, but there was also was all this confetti they shot out at the end and it was flyin everywhere

You gotta believe me when i say it was awesome-i think you might have liked it even if you don't like green day because of all the funny stuff they did and the fire and the explosions and everything else (maybe even the music-its alot better live)

I hate how everyone thinks green day is just another one of those popular bands-as said by their bass player-"We write music for ourselves and if other people like it, that's great." Their goal wasn't to be a popular group, it was to make music.

I think sometimes people's wires get crossed when it comes to expression. Like, for example, this kid just wants to tell us about the concert and how much fun he had. Others, arent interested, and wanna be arses. The moral of the story: respect other peoples POVs.

Good point. But he does keep saying stuff like "you would have loved it, there were super soakers!" Which I think annoys everyone even more. Yeah, I'm sure some people are just trying to be asses to this kid who wants to tell us how much fun he had, but he might not get quite as much crap if he would just stop tellin g us that we would all like the confeti, ya know? If he would just say "yo I had a good time, I know I wouldn't really care. But he keeps trying to convince us ew would like it which is extremely aggravating.
