it pisses people off to know that he took a line from one song and repeated it countlessley for this hook. his rapping isnt very sophisticated.

but its catchy as hell.

Why does everybody act like Mike Jones is so bad? I think he's ok, although I've only heard 2 songs by him. :o But I listen to almost everything, and I got a lot of love for any musician because they work so hard and put their stuff out there for people. Especially good musicians. But I'm not sure if he's the best lyricist ever, there's a lot out there.

It is my understanding that Eric John never wrote the lyrics, Bernie Taupin actually wrote Ricketman (the word part).

Mike Jones may of had some help from Jay Streamer (on word parts).
