sometimes when i read some threads a "guest" has posted....i don't really want to use this feature i was just wondering how it is done? :confused: :confused: :confused:

You can't choose to be a guest. We can turn users into guest though, which is why you might see some out there on the boards. It happens when we kill their accounts without removing the posts they made.

well why didn't you do that with wints and montypgirl, coz lotta people lost a lotta posts from there accounts along with there threads being deleted and not turned into "guests" :)

It depends on the circumstances. When people require their whole account (including posts) to go, we usually make it all go.
Most of the guests out there are guests because they've automatically been deleted for being inactive for too long though.

It's not a regular procedure, so we have no set time limit.
