They have to play this show! It is for a great cause and the lineup is full of the most respected musicians in the world. The Beasties must represent in Philly with the instruments, turntables, and global influence. The world needs them!

WillSmith, Jay Z, 50 cent, P Diddy can't energize that crowd the way the boys can. They gotta play this one and unite that lineup. Philly and the world needs them this time. They did their own benefit at the Hammerstein Ballroom after 911, but didn't play the Concert for NYC. Get it Together at Live 8 Philly!

Also! As I remember the Live Aid back in '85! The TV would not play rap music as RUN DMC were performing, they cut away to the adverts! So twenty years on, now rap/hip hop influences such people today in sociaty including U2. With an interview with Bono a few years ago, he said that when there touring all he listens to is the Beastie Boys especially "Pauls Boutique"!
