Hey people,
Has anyone ever tried Dr Oetker's line of frozen pizzas? Damn they are tasty, authentic thin crust style with quality ingredients throughout, the dough, the marinara, the toppings....really good, downright impressive for a pre-packaged product,I don't care for the spinach, but the mozza, peperoni or funghini are damn fine...mind you they won't feed many and they're kinda pricy, like I could easily eat one to myself after pub night, quality not quantity I figure....Wolfgang Puck used to have a line o pizza's that were nice but I don't see em anymore...mmmmmmmmmmmm pizza.....whats your fave frozen product? Gourmet style not the Salisbury Steak,Swansons Hungry Man dinner! (which one should have once a year to remind oneself of the mistake they made last year) ;)

Amy's Roasted Veggie No-Cheese. (y)
if you want something less vegan, California Pizza Kitchen's Tomato and four cheese or however many cow juice curd products pizza is pretty awesome for a frozen pizza. but it's more like cheesy bread. CPK doesn't really use marinara.

OMFG me too! have you ever tried the breakfast burrito one?? holy shit. scrambled tofu, potatoes, rice, beans, tomatoes. OH GOD yes. i'll add a lil salsa and hot sauce. mmm so good. i always keep some on hand in the freezer at home. we sell them for super cheap too. $1.59 each! i've seen them at the grocery store across the street for almost $3. they take like an hour to cook in the oven at work though :( we've brought in a lot more Amy's stuff. i fucking love that brand. everything's so clean, a lot of it's organic, and they always clearly label it when it's vegan. i have all their fridge magnets too. they're my favorite booth at the natural products expo :o

seriously, i hate frozen burritos for the most part. but these are just like homemade. well, almost. and they have whole wheat tortillas too. you can nuke 'em for about 2 minutes or put them in the oven for about 50. either way, they're really satisfying.

pita pockets?
Sadly, John Tesh told be about the Kangaroo Pocket Diet. (http://www.kangaroodiet.com/about.htm)
Pitas and hummus is the sex, regardless.
I eat way too much frozen food. I practically lived off of 85 cent frozen pizza for a time. And those burritos... my lord. There are some shitty ones out there but these $3 joints look good.

Dr Oetker pizza's are horrible over here. A local supermarket chain has some very nice frozen pizza's though so it can be done.

I love Dr. Oetker's pizza. I haven't tried pepperoni, but that's cause I don't like pepperoni. And besides, at first, they only had the vegetarian flavors at my supermarket (mushroom, cheese, spinach, and vegetable which is red, yellow, green peppers, sweet banana peppers and cherry tomatoes) Vegetable is a little too much for me. And, I know I said all the english names, but I can't remember all the right names.
Also, Michelina's frozen pizza is awesome!! It is the best singular frozen pizza I've ever had. It costs about $2.00 (in Toronto) and the average person could probably eat at least 2 in one sitting. But, the crust actually turns out crispy and it tastes really good so it's worth it. I usually take 1 and pair it with a nice salad for lunch.

Nope, I disagree.
I wonder if they're different over here. I like 'em. But the guy's right, they won't feed many and are kind of expensive. Usually it's one pizza per person.

Try the steenoven pizza's from AH, they are very good.
Personally I don't like the Oetker ones that I've tried.
I'm Italian though, I might be a bit picky what pizza is concerned ;)
