Beasties in "Rock Snob Hall of Fame"

There is a hilarious book out called The Rock Snobs Dictionary, by some writers from Vanity Fair. In it they name a "Rock Snob" Hall of Fame (e.g. Elvis Costello is the sort of Babe Ruth of rock snobbery). It is mostly tongue in cheek but they do give the Beasties serious respect in calling them "timeless" and noting that they get in the Hall due to their championing of 70's funk, name checking Lee "Scratch" Perry, and so on. Very cool.
