white people add such corniness to rap music on levels. as consumers, as the audience, as participants, just all around. yeah theres the exception here and there but now more than ever white people are just bad for rap music.
nothing against white people of course.

I guess that really depends on what you're driving at. A lot of the best DJ's and producers in the game are white people.
I don't really see what ethnicity has to do with creative ability, but whatever. Run that game, dude.

when Im walking at night and I hear a big loud engine and loud 50 cent blasting behind me and I hear "wad up homie you need a ride" and I turn round and see a mustang with a white kid (and when I say white I mean sterotypical Tommy hillfigure blech blonde shit) thats when I know hip-hop has sunk to all time lows.

funny thing is alot of thrse "posers" are the one trying to act all hard and shit always looking for a fight/trouble, and their music of choice:rap usally hardcore. Most people round here who think they gangsta listen to Game, 50, and Mac Dre I've noticed. But yep I've never heard of no one listening to SlipKnot or any shit trying to start fights and gangs.

this has zero to do with "race" or genetics....
and everything to do with culture....
the amount of pigment in your skin has nothing to do with your ability to rap or DJ, ect....

If all of the mainstream rap fans and all of the rock fans I know had a fight, the rock fans would easily win.
Black or not, if they listen to 50 Cent and similar then they are posers and pussies.
I listen to pretty much anything except mainstream rap.

Pretty much, except what about THE BEASTIE BOYS?! They are the only exception really. I thinks they the funky-assest white boys out there! I myself am a "wigga", but I don't bust pop-shit really, and I don't have bleach-blond hair, or wear Tommy Hilfigure (haha) like g-mile said. I'm have dark-brown hair, and usually wear Dickies or Southpole.

The Beastie Boys are white and they rap, but they ain't trying to act like black people, they are true to themselves and they do other kinds of music too. I believe they truely love hip hop music, and all kinds at that. I'm white and I listen to hip hop, but I ain't a poser because I don't try to act like them or anything, just myself.

like i said theres a few exceptions like the beastie boys but actually when white rap artists come into the game it brings in even more corny white people into the mix through no fault of that white artist. thats just the way people are,, white people see white rappers and they get all giddy and shit. beastie boys, house of pain, 3rd bass, eminem, they all attracted fellow white people who dont know shit about rap music. but those peeps are just a small part of the ones represented in "rap music wouldnt suck so much if white people just left it alone"

why don't you just further explain your stance then...
why should white people stay out of rap? as opposed to a black person?
what is it about the pigment level of one's skin that dictates why someone should enjoy or get involved with a form of music?

Maybe, instead, you should have said people who exploit and mock rap make rap music sound bad. That would hold more value.

as opposed to a black person? well black people can claim rap music, its theirs. i'm not kicking anyone out but if its being asked why should black people stay and not white people then thats why
what is it about the pigment level of one's skin that dictates why someone should enjoy or get involved with a form of music?
well i wholeheartedly believe that black should get involved and learn and enjoy forms of music that they created. instead it seems their music gets taken over which makes them lose interest and abandon it. i do believe, with black people, that since they're black it should dictate what music to get involved with. i'm not saying they should be limited to only certain types of music but i think definately they should be concerned with the music they've elevated. if that makes me racist is people's eyes than whatever.
why don't you just further explain your stance then...
i said rap music wouldnt suck so much if white people just left it alone. and i believe it. its white people that exploit it and ruin it. i'm not saying white people are evil or anything so dont be stupid. but its white people who make mr. kool-aid rap, who make k-mart employees seem like they're rappers, who add rap beats and rhythms to their commericials. its white people in the suburbs who are out of touch with reality that drive sales of bad rap music through the roof which in turn makes labels put even more of it out. its indie white kids and their corny indie white rapper idols who try to say what hip hop is or isnt. el-p drops a decent album and all of a sudden for a while there he was the know all god of what rap music should be because thats what white kids were making him out to be. sage francis telling everybody whats wrong with hip-hop is just some bullshit and making it seem like what it needs is a white guy to save hip-hop. its their corny ass white audience that starts deciding what is gonna be considered "real" and "fake". they start making a war out of it. its white people who are trying to set up product placement in song lyrics. so i stand by what i said in that rap music wouldnt suck so much if white people just left it alone

well i wholeheartedly believe that black should get involved and learn and enjoy forms of music that they created. instead it seems their music gets taken over which makes them lose interest and abandon it. taken over by whites? so no music executive can be black? so russel simmons and puff daddy are white?
puff daddy has done more damage to the rap game then any man. he IS a record label...and he's black.
i said rap music wouldnt suck so much if white people just left it alone. and i believe it. its white people that exploit it and ruin it. puff daddy, nelly, 50 cent and G-unit, southern crunk bullshit (all black)....this is also what's also contributing to rap's demise.
how can you have the balls to blame it all on the white man?
i'm not saying white people are evil or anything so dont be stupid. but its white people who make mr. kool-aid rap, who make k-mart employees seem like they're rappers, who add rap beats and rhythms to their commericials. ah...so you assume that no black people work for ad agencies? that no black people make executive decisions like this? it's ALLLLLL the white people?

It's a fad. Before rap, there was rock n' roll. You had long-haired outcasts listening to rock n' roll, and that was the preferable genre to listen to while being a punk, or a bad ass. That's how I look at it, anyway.

from 2pacboard.com:
Rap is a black thing. It was started by black people for black people.
However it is liked universally by young, old, white or black. There should be no restrictions to who can listen. However sometimes the message may be lost on certain people.
Would the artist prefer that the only people who listen to the music be black people who are living in the ghetto. The majority of these people aren't gonna have a lot of spare money for music. Or would they prefer to sell a shit load of records and make money.
Black people started hip-hop. White people kept it going with their spending. For the better or the worse.
thats truth, just because someone says it is a black thing doesnt mean its racist, we're letting people do it, I think that speaks volumes on society cuz lets face it, the nation doesnt get too riled up untill it happens to WHite Americana. Even with all the shit happen just 40-50 years ago Blacks and Whites usally have no problem with enjoying rap together, shows how forgivin' americans, espcially black amercians are. All the shit they segreated and kept my people from, we never once try to pass no ghetto law not allowing them to do it too, if we did all of a sudden we be called "reverse racist" and what not (simlar to X) even though we would have good justification to do it, and even though now it's almost an oddity to see an all black rock group/rocker(like a Prince) even though blacks created the music.Whites(some of them) have always loved the black music on the sly since the late 1930's and so on, they would sneek into the Jazz/Swing clubs just to gock at them "negros and how they move". So its only logical that there offsprings as such would gravitate towards hip-hop mcuh like rock. Even though music is an idea, it still can be used like propetry much like Freedom.

I wasn't referring to "black" who pose to be "white".
I also didn't mean to start beef, but you are right my post was provoking.
Anyway, I ment that also many blank youngers, are posing, talking hard and playing it "gansta". Just because they smoke weed or were in the police station for been to stupid to break-in liqueur store didn't make them thugs or famous raper. But fuck this black/white shit the real issue is the lack of originality
All I want to say that there are plenty of posers out there no matter the color, doing the ultimate sin, felling ashamed of who really they are and desperately trying to be somone they are not.

no harm done, much respect for clearing it up because I didnt want it to seem as if I was talking like whites can't be involved with Rap at all. Oh, yeah He invent the remix, so give him some music award nomination.
Or maybe He deserve more the tv-fashion award.
The only option for the rappers, not to be told how they should rap, by white label director (who takes the most of the cream) is to start new independent labels and not to go to SONY or something.
Take, DEL the funky Hoomosapien for example and what he does with hieroglifics. He is rapping however he wants, whenever he wants, with whoever he wants.
