hi, please tell me if this has been done, if i am an idiot or this should go to the Freq post archive or something. im delirious from a severe lack of sleep and this just popped into my head.
how about, having a database on beastieboys.com where ppl can nominate themselves (or someone else) to be the official beastie boys representative in their native city? that way, if other bboys.com members are travelling to a certain city they always have a place to stay? even if the bboys toured that particular city then the offical bboys rep could be their host!
if anybody else could add to this, (or tell me im a dickhead), feel free.
heads up minton, what do u think? or astrobboy on beastiemania.com for that matter. yeah!

While I'm here I'd just like to say that Adelaide is pretty bad. So bad that I refused to stay overnight there on the BDO tour, much to TPK's disappointment. A few hours is more than enough for me.

Most boardmembers who have been around bb.com for awhile have developed relationships with other members that would most likely get them an invite to stay over should that board member visit their city. I, however, wouldn't feel comfortable being on a list to have just anyone stay at my place, nor would I want to meet just anyone for a drink should they come to my city. If you stick around the boards long enough, you will hopefully establish enough of a relationship with people to warrant an invite perhaps. If you are cool, that is...
I think the bb.com community is strong enough that those members that like each other find ways to meet up should the occasion present itself and that's one of the things I like about this place...

Somehow I don't think I need to worry about people wanting to come and stay in Stoke on Trent in England but hey, maybe some of you are into your pottery and plates and things (Stoke is "famous" for the pottery industry) so you never now. We also have a Waterworld and 2, yes 2(!), cinemas so I suppose it is possible. Or maybe you might want to come and see the mighty Stoke City playing.

I'm misleading you. I called the police to help him track down his car, which mysteriously vanished.

The story has a happy ending. The car was retrieved and a Beastie Boys show was enjoyed by all.

ok, well, add this to the stupid thread list, alongside the 'what kind of deodorant do the beasties use?'. and dont judge me just cos im from adelaide, adelaide is seriously not a bad place. sure, there are lots of strange people, (most from north of adelaide, which basically is a ghetto) but its got the best wine in the world, cool bars, loads of hot girls, (way more than melbourne and sydney) awesome beaches, awesome mountain ranges and wildlife, and drugs are good quality and cheapest in australia ;) ok. im gonna go now before i make even more a fool of myself.

It actually serves two purposes. It does contain sunblock to prevent burning & does help with a achieving a golden brown tan, and the added bonus....of.....smelling like a coconut.
