Is this ban permanent? From what I've heard about the incident a permanent banning from the boards seems a bit excessive.

Any plans to lift the ban after a sufficient "lesson-learning" period?

1) A couple of threads were intentionally frozen to the point that we were unable to even open them. We had to work through the database to correct the error manually and that took time. A lot of time. That's a big deal to us and a serious technical problem for our server/software which we rent.

2) It was the second problem caused by this user in the space of two weeks. A warning was issued the first time.

Given this, I doubt we'll be lifting the ban any time soon.
