In any case, you know what time it is.

Though I gotta say that not many people realized or found the way... At large, the year has ultimately only proved to surface nothing but all the grime there is on the mainstream's bottom... politically, socially.. Everything the album represented went un-noted and discounted by the diluted masses funneled and trained into telling time by the rolex propaganda at the drive in.. adopting more and more inferiority complexes due to, and par with the wrought course, degenerative state, and stagnant world affair that continues to hold a front along... to get along mentality.. It's a mirage, a pyramid scheme everyone's bought and soled out to one way or another. I'm trying to tell you now... The common denomination has become nothing more than an irrational number trading truth for oil. Suckers and intelligent alike down with the dissolution never stop but to fill up on misinformation in the afflicted meantime.

"Yeah You Can't Front On That"
But Little Do You Know About Something That I Talk
About I'm Tired Of Driving It's Due Time That I Walk haa
About But In The Meantime, I'm Wise To The Demise
I've Got Eyes In The Back Of My Head So I Realize
Ah Well I'm Dr. Spock I'm Here To Rock Y'All
I Want You Off The Wall If You're Playing The Wall
I Said What'cha What'cha What'cha Want What'cha Want

- CHECK IT AGAIN

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Still, unlimited props to the album..!
So.... word up!

I think a TT5B lyric is appropriate, so let's scale it back to check degeneration x.

So what'cha want? So what'cha need?

Who got the chance to make things right?

it all seems anti-climatic now. Is just me or on their pervious records it felt like they were just around more..shows , tv appearnces.. for instance they did not do Saturday night live this year. They always do the show to promote an album.

Yeah, WTF. I was waiting for them to be announced or, better yet, to just show up in the middle of some skit. Preferably The Falconer.

this girl i used to see..her roomate's brother was an SNL writer last season [he got fired though...as he should have], and word was that the show was doing all it could to snag the boys for the season finale last year...but it wasnt going to be able to work out. just sayin

would have been dope to see them with the Falconer though. (y)

Get the fuck out of here. For the finale...that would have been amazing.

I wonder why it didn't work out.

Maybe they'll post why on the updates/home page. :D

Yes. I love Donald. And anything with Will Forte.

I loved the Will Ferrell/Will Forte restaurant pepper skit.

More pepper! Keep grinding. Grind boy! Grind. Grind.
Never give up never give up never give up.

I thought they did a pretty decent amount of television appearances, award show performances, mtv hoopla.

But yeah...SNL would have been cool. Hopefully the Chappelle stuff will make it on air...or at least surface in the bootleg community.

I thought so too. It seemed like just the right amount of appearances without it feeling like they were overdoing it.

Sometimes when a movie is about to be released, you see way, way too much of the people involved and it can become not a good thing. Overexposure of the Beasties, for me, is fine, but I think I like them more than the typical person in my demographic.

ya, but it was all over in less than a year.........all the planning, recording and touring for just 8 months of promotion.......seems very short....

happy anniversary TT5B! lots of memories from here 1 year ago. Remember redeamer? oh man he got dissed! remember having to sit through that shitty OC show just to hear a snibbet from Ch-Check it out? or how about the small gigs they played around that time! those were good times

also remember all the fighting going on about downloading the album? Me myself, I couldn't wait to hear it and I had it 1 week early (I still bought 2 copies the day it came out, the other still wrapped in plastic).

Keep it short was the theme it seems of tt5b. Out of 15 songs how many are under 3 minutes? Like 13 or so?

The only two songs that I felt were too short were Brouhaha and RTRW. The album plays fast because they don't have any 4 1/2 minute intstrumentals in this one....which was cool with me.
