But I guess if anybody can help these two actually act, it's you.

I can see the picture.

Cameron Crowe's upcoming movie is ELIZABETHTOWN... starring....er.... Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst.

Susan Sarandon, too, but I'm not worried about her.

to me, his pinnacle was Almost Famous

I love that movie. Hopefully he has some more good ones in him before he kicks. (y)

of course, he could have ended his career with "Say Anything" or "Singles", and then again, I wouldnt complain...

"Fast Times at Ridgemont High" was his first screenplay...

combine that with touring and working for Rolling Stone and meeting bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Allman Bros and The Who, the dudes led a pretty cool life...

sometimes when I watch "Almost Famous" I want to BE Cameron Crowe.I was supposed to get his life...

Me, too, except with more consistant movies. :D

the look on Bloom's face about sums up my "excitement level" on this movie.

then again, it is Crowe (Almost Famous)

then again, it's Crowe (Vanilla Sky)

The idea of Orlando playing the Soulful Lost Soul Returning Home kinda makes my stomach turn.

Supposedly, the movie starts with him wanting to commit suicide, but he's stopped when he receives news about a relative (dad?) who just died.

That's a little Live Cute for me, but maybe they can pull it off.

Really?

So far, he's looking like he can act. But I've only seen him in Almost Famous and Saved!

he's really good in that thing that he did where he was good.

They just put about seven minutes of various shots from the movie and the production online. (http://www.elizabethtown.com/video/firstlook/InternetTrailer.mov)

Mixture of good and bad.
But it was fun to see an ear X-tacy bumper sticker in here, since I was just mentioning the store on this board a couple days ago. (y)
