my local stations are actually pretty good about playing a wide variety of Beastie songs. There isn't one that gets played more than another.
One uses almost all of their instrumentals for background music during the traffic/news reports. The other plays everything from Some Old Bullshit to T5B.
It's good times. I'm glad my hood enjoys their music so much (y)

Sabotage and Sure Shot are pretty much the only ones any DJ in Pittsburgh has heard of.

only if it's good radio.
We have a good radio station here. No regulations of which songs to play. They play stuff from the Beasties, to John Lee Hooker, to Dead Kennedys, to Johnny Cash, to Massive Attack, etc.

Dude you are so lucky... We sit through six hours of crap just to hear them play "brass monkey" again...... If we are lucky they might play "fight for your right".... It is pretty sad that I get all giddy when they slip up and actually play some "so watcha want".... Damn DC radio......

The shit thing about English radio is that anything a few months old goes right off the playlist on most radio stations, everything has to be fucking new, so the Beasties don't get as much time on the air as they should.

I heard So Watcha Want, Sabotage, Pass the Mic, Brass Monkey and No sleep Til Brooklyn all the time on the alternative station, they play those most frequently. I heard Check it Out twice on my hip hop station. (y)

The instrumentals are used helluva lot on backgrounds on the telly here. The national radio plays the Beasties every now and then, not often enough tho'. I think I've heard all the singles from TT5B a few times, So Watcha Want, and Shake you rump when TPK wished for it.. ;)

I heard Fight for Your Right when I was driving home under the influence one time. It really took the edge off, other than that I haven't heard anything on any local stations.

Usually only Intergalactic. I've never heard it myself, but my friends tend to email me at work whenever they hear it. I wish they would stop.

The same here in Brasil. A lotta radio stations play beastie's instrumentals for background music during advertisement and stuff. But there's a radio that plays a lot beastie boys. Especially Sabotage and So What'cha Want.

Rock 102.1 in Milwaukee is obssessed with playing "fight for your right," "brass monkey" and "paul revere." Every now and then they will play something from CYH or HN.
