And no I'm not just figuring that out right now but I thought it was time to say it out loud.

I just think its better than illmatic or the chronic or ready to die or whatever you can come up with. Because, illmatic's only nine tracks. Quality over quantity of course but the songs on the infamous are every bit as good as those on illmatic there's just more of them.

I think I'd have it at somewhere at around # 30 or something. I love the album, but there's a lot better ones out there, in my opinion. I think the two Q-Tip joints, while good, are really out of place, too. And I don't think that Prodigy is at the top of his rhyme game at this point. He's nice, but he's not Drop A Gem On 'Em/Quiet Storm/Keep It Thoro nice yet. But Hav's beats were never this good again.

I agree with the last part, that prodigy got better after this album.

Can you honestly think of 29 albums that are better? Even if I would put all the real "classics" before the infamous they would be higher.

To each his own. The Infamous is an understandable choice for somebody to have as a favorite, it's just not mine.

Hey Mickill, was it Fashion, or Al Tariq who used to be in the Beatnuts?

Yeah, he changed his name to Al Tariq when he converted to Islam. And he was Cool Ass Fash when he was in The Beatnuts.
