Mix Master Mike is playing Sydney on August 20th (no venue confirmed yet).
So I assume he will play Melbourne as well.

I'm going suckas. Once tickets go on sale.

Already have tickets for Queens of the Stone Age, Oasis, going to get tix to the roots, MMM and considering getting tix to interpol and bloc party (except they are sold out so i'd have to buy through ebay). Plus livid should be on this year, and merideth music festival is coming around too. I should be set for concerts :D

When I was planning my trip, I bought lots of tickets to things ahead of time. And obviously hotel reservations. Late January was easier, but early February made me sick to my stomach and I was sure that I'd buy a ticket to something on May 2nd instead of February 5th. I'm starting to make a plan for England now and it's all coming back to me. :o

I just checked MMM's site and it has no information about Australia. Have you tried emailing his site asking them to update it?
