I would like to post more in this section but I don't because I don't feel confident in what I believe in. But maybe that's alright. I mean, talking about things like this could bring up ideas I didn't even know I had, and then I can see them and decide whether I want to keep them or not. Im open to change.

don't be intimidated.....actually posting here could help you learn more about what you believe in. If your in a debate, do some research and learn some stuff and apply it.

Exactly....

I'M ALL FOR IT.

I predict that the Beastie-Free General vs. Political will be the new board war that will COMPLETELY overshadow last year's General Beastie vs. Beastie-Free war.

As there are a lot fewer posters here compared to Beastie-Free, I imagine it'll be a lot like The Alamo. ;)

nah, common enemies could work wonders...

i just think that bulk of the GP'ers wouldn't give 2 shits....
a passing comment or 2....and that's about all the energy they'd waste on it...

and with good reason, i suppose.

The kids from Bestie Free would not be able to handle the words per post generated here. There's a 200 to 400 word attention span. I wager that niether Enigma nor Ace42 would be able to insult any BFer in 3,000 words or less.

Not bad, I have mastered the Jitterbug and Hula Popper, now working on the Table Rock Shad spinnerbait. Hoping to use a double-colorado or willow-indiana to get a superior cast.

so untrue

and that post in beastie-free wasn't really making fun of this forum, was it? i don't think there was anything in it that would warrant starting a civil internet war. i don't know though i didn't read the whole thing, i kind of stopped paying attention after the first few posts

If I could take a virtual shit anywhere, it would be on beastie-free general discussion.

However, if there was ever a group of posters that I would like to virtually devour, it would be wholly comprosied of those in beastie-free general discussion.

So obviously, I'm emotionally conflicted about the whole affair.

"I caught a cab the other day, and this being London, he said (referring to the equal rights for homosexuals march) 'It's depraved, it's just not natural.' So, I replied 'Well, in many ancient cultures including the greeks, fathers of democracy, homsexuality was regarded as purer and superior to heterosexual love. And indeed in the natural world, many species indulge in homosexual acts.'

The cabbie replied 'Yeah, well, you can prove anything with facts.'

And I find yes, yes you can."

See that's the thing Ace is that the bulk of the posters over here don't seem to realize that it's just a message board and 99% of the crap posted is just people spouting off with their two cents on things. Most the people honestly don’t care what anyone else has to say. They just want to post their own shit because for some reason they think it’s more important than what everyone else has to say. I am not impressed that someone can google the topics and post facts to back up their "opinions". Besides when it comes to politics and religion arguing back and forth with someone who doesn't think the same way as you is just a waste of time and energy. Especially if it's done on a message board.
