I went to the non-profit Money Management Internationl (several people said to go to them) to consolidate all my medical debt. I am actually in the middle of the process right now, chatting online with an agent. It's weird to be doing this online, I thought I'd have to call. I have the option to change it to over the phone though if I want.

Anyways, yeah. I hope to get this ish taken care of. (y)

yeah, the place I mentioned is suppoedly very very good. Despite the fact consolidating the debt isn't really a positive impact on your credit score, they work with you to figure out ways to improve that score despite the consolidation. I went through their website and it's pretty damned good.

If you want, I can link ya.

called Money Management Int/Consumer Credit Couseling Services. So far I am having a good experience with them.

Also to expand on my situation:

it's different areas of the hospitals or different hospitals that I owe money to. Each one wants me to make a monthly payment of at least $75.00, which in itself is fine. But because I have MANY that want that, vs just two or three, it adds up to be too much I cannot afford it. Thus, trying to get it to just one payment.

They handle many sitatuons though. Just thought I would let you know though just in case you were curious since it may be a bit different for you.

I don't really have any debt, at least nothing major. Trying to keep it that way

good for you (y)

I wouldn't have debt, but I kept getting sick in DC when I moved there, and it would always be when I was without insurance. :/
