have you ever watched a reality show and realized you know someone from your real life?
I was watching Cat House-The Series on HBO, which chronicles the lives of the prostitutes at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch, which is a 1/2 hour from where I live... one of the "customers" featured was a transvestite who is woman from head-to-toe, but still has his weiner... he, however loves sex with women and calls himself a "lesbian with a dick" or something like that... as I was watching him (he's really really ugly and odd looking), I realized I knew him...
Another instance would be the vh1 'I Love the 80's, 90's, etc.'... out of the various people who offer commentary, I realized one of the guys used to play football with my brother and even went on a couple of family vacations with us...
His name is Petros Papadakis and his occupation is "pop culture expert"... supposedly he has his own radio show in L.A. and does sports commentary for USC football... I guess the people in L.A. consider him a local celebrity... somehow he made it on vh1.

I saw one girl I know on that train wreck of a show "Next" on MTV. Kinda tripped me out.

Lex from Survivor is a family friend. We sent to each others weddings...
We aren't as close now, but he just started a regular job with a good friend.

about half way through that I shuddered and stopped reading. i'm bailing on this whole thread too that was just too gross of an image. i gotta stay up at least another half an hour and find some mental floss to purge that before i go to bed (its 3:18am wake up at 7:00 for work :mad: )

A couple of guys I know were on Ricki Lake. The whole thing was a joke to them, and I think it showed, because they only got half a segment. Other than that, I gots nuttin'.
edit: Dude ended up losing his keys and left his BMW (a very old used and abused one) down there and never went back to get it (this was 1995ish).

this last episode had a chick paying another chick because her b/f wanted a 3-way and she wanted to see if she liked women first... the b/f was NOT involved in the antics at the Bunny Ranch...

so, i watched the latest episode of this show last night... i learned that some people actually go to the "ladies of the night" to act out a fantasy, but not to have anything sexual happen...
this one dude just wanted to oil wrestle... the hooker brought in another chick and the 3 of em just rolled around on top of the bed in their g-strings (the guy too!) that was it...
interesting.
